  • Perform tests to ensure systems are functioning correctly after installation.
  • Repair and Maintenance:
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty machinery or equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment failure.
  • Fabrication and Modifications:
  • Cut, shape, and weld materials as needed to modify or fabricate components.
  • Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment during the fitting process.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to workplace safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company policies.
  • Education:
  • High school, diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in mechanical fitting, welding, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Basic welding and metal fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
